After we’ve been running for awhile, very few us are immune to the desire to work harder, get faster, reach goals that once seemed unattainable. Countless athletes dream and plan for their next race moments after crossing the finish line on their last race.

Sometimes we’ve been running for years, chasing PRs from our youth or just a year ago. Or maybe we’ve raced a bunch, but there’s a time we want to see on the finish line clock.We see our peers achieving their goals and think, “why not me?”
