"I enjoy the variety of workouts within the week. It has been nice having someone decide for me what each day will bring, I focus on the running and executing while my coach determines what workout comes next. I feel like I have gotten faster and stronger in the quality workouts. At first the workouts can look intimidating but once I have settled into the run, it all seems manageable and doable. It has helped me build confidence during these types of workouts which will hopefully translate into my marathon.  I think so many different types of runners can benefit from their coaching. “I’ve been running a long time and have always trained on my own. I’ve done well, but wanted to try a new approach. I’ve never had a running coach before this. I loved the variety of workouts. No two were the same. It was fun playing with different paces and different distances. I ran my fastest 5k in 14 years. I don’t think I could have run that fast without my coach’s workouts. I had one of my fastest seasons of racing in a long time. I’ve used generic training plans many times in the past and have done well, but usually ended up wearing out. Onward Coaching kept me ready to race over several months, without burning out. And, it was a lot of fun.My coach was very supportive and enthusiastic about my running.
